We just wanted to share a little bit about the 2 “busy bees” behind the scenes of the Queen Bee Market.
We began our business venture over thirty years ago as sisters. After years of sharing rooms, a phone line and similar passions we left home (Mique first, followed two years later by Jess) for college.
Over the years we have both experienced lots of ups- college, weddings, children- with a few downs mixed in. Although we’ve always been pretty close, we became talk-on-the-phone-every day close after Jess entered the motherhood club. With five children between us, we are never short on conversation.
We are California girls through and through and love love love San Diego and all it has to offer. We feel so lucky to have been raised in such an amazing place with a fantastic family. We proudly call Encinitas our hometown and love being there to hang out at the beach, eat a good bean and cheese burrito and spend time with family and friends.
We have been to many boutiques/fairs/markets over the years and decided that we wanted to offer one of our own in the place we love. We are thrilled to be making a dream come true together.
