Recently we came across a post on Someday I’ll Learn that touched us. An eleven month old sweet baby named Penelope was just diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Because insurance isn’t covering all of her treatment, San Diego has rallied around her to help as much as possible- auctions, donations, and a media blitz to get the word out. So….what does this have to do with the Queen Bee Market? We thought that we could pitch in as well. We contacted Chelsea at Someday I’ll Learn and let her know that we’d love to help. She sent a sweet reply saying that she loved the idea and we were given the go ahead.
We will have buckets at the market to donate your pennies for Penny- every little bit helps. We would love to have you help us spread the word!

Started by Israel and Danielle Paskowitz for their son Isaiah, Surfers Healing is a surf camp for kids with autism. The program doesn’t charge a fee but gets support from donations (like us!!).
Often children with autism suffer from sensory overload but water and the ocean have a soothing effect. At camp they get to go out surfing with a trained volunteer.
